"Motherhood has a profound way of sharpening one’s perspective on time. In designing for VIKTORIA & WOODS for over two decades, the focus has always been on the 'now,' but becoming a mother shifted my lens toward 'always.' It taught me that true longevity isn't just about a fabric’s ability to withstand wear, though our signature merino does exactly that, it’s about a silhouette’s ability to remain relevant across generations.

When I look at my daughter, I think about what I want her to inherit. Beyond a curated wardrobe of well-made clothes, I hope to pass down a set of values: the importance of intentionality, the strength found in simplicity, and the confidence to invest in quality over the ephemeral.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the pieces that bridge the gap between us. These are the foundational icons designed in Australia to be worn, lived in, and eventually, passed on.
