The making of our custom Viktoria & Woods garment bag celebrates artful design expertly crafted in our in-house atelier in Melbourne by our skilled artisans. This internal project celebrates our ongoing commitment to responsible business and sustainability, by utilising our archival Japanese dead stock fabric. Staying true to our purpose of transforming materials with enduring purpose and longevity, creating beautiful moments in harmony with our planet.

In-house we are constantly evolving and thinking of new ways to utilise our deadstock fabric. Lessening our environmental impact by using what’s already available committed to the longevity of garments further extending the life of the fabric keeping it out of landfill.

Fabric waste is a complicated problem for the fashion industry, but by using surplus stock with our classic silhouettes and inventing ways to reinvent V&W moments such as the garment bag allows us to keep harmony within our responsible business initiatives while creating beautiful brand moments.


The result, a luxurious garment bag thats perfect to house a prized V&W item in a garment bag form making it the perfect match in house for our endeavour.

The design converts easily from a dress sleeve with a zip and fold action to carry or hang with ease. This functionality, mirroring the elegant simplicity and effortless of V&W design at it's heart, is a true testament to our design practices in house, made by our skilled artisans in which we hope to continue for years to come.
