TRANSPARENCY
OUR FOCUS
We are continually learning and redefining our best practice. We strive to build trust through sharing this journey with our customers.
OUR COMMITMENT
As we care for our clothes, we care for those making them. We will build long-lasting relationships with trusted suppliers to ensure workers are treated fairly, remain safe and are paid appropriately.
Within this journey of information and honouring our Conscious Design Ethos, we will look to better understand the impacts and opportunities of raw materials origins and the entire supply chain. Empowering ourselves with knowledge allows us to authentically understand our current impact and future opportunities.
We are anchored by this transparent and honest approach throughout our journey by sharing progress, learnings and challenges in our pillars via an annual impact report.
OUR GOALS
Update out Supplier Code of Conduct in line with the best international standards of practice as identified by the International Labour Organisation.
OUR APPROACH
As an Australian owned brand we are intrinsically linked to our beautiful country, our unique landscape continues to inspire each of our collections. We have built long-term relationships with our local makers with the majority of previous collections being locally made.
Over recent years, challenges in our local manufacturing availability have seen our collections move to just over 70% locally made. Whilst we are very proud of this and remain supportive of our local industry, the premium quality and customer experience of Viktoria and Woods remains our utmost priority.
The decline of our local manufacturing industry, limited by the machinery and production techniques available, means we need to explore options from artisans around the world to achieve the highest quality product and finish for our customers. In making this decision, we will ensure the chosen manufacturers are centred around producing the highest quality garments possible.
