Where possible spot clean, otherwise cold hand wash with an approved wool detergent & dry flat in shade. Machine washing or using harsh detergents can cause damage to the delicate fibres of merino wool. Some brands that offer high quality wool detergents are; Bondi Wool & Cashmere Wash or The Laundress Wool & Cashmere Shampoo.
Ideally air out regularly to take advantage of the wool's natural cleaning and antibacterial properties to remove odours. Make sure to store your knitwear folded to keep its shape.
From time to time you may find your knitwear may pill a little. This is common shedding that occurs in finer wools, including cashmere & merino, that possess a softer handle and weave. Although pilling on our V&W knitwear is usually minimal, you can easily remove pilling gently by hand or use a de-pilling comb.

A natural regenerated fibre made from the pulp of bamboo. This revolutionary fabrication offers antibacterial properties making it durable, breathable and easy to care for. Crafted by premium makers, our V&W bamboo yarn is blended with a hint of polyester to give the fabric improved strength and durability.
Bamboo will organically relax and move with wear. This is the natural progression of the fabrication and can be easily cared for with a steam iron or ironed slightly damp if a steam iron is unavailable. To maintain its desired qualities, wash in cold water with a gentle detergent, free of bleach.

Organic cotton is an integral fabrication within each V&W collection.
Our offering includes classic jersey and our signature 2x2 rib. Proudly developed with our local makers over 10 years ago, our signature 2x2 rib was crafted with intention to create a certified eco-friendly yarn that was breathable, lightweight, and easy to wear and care for with an element of stretch.
Cotton has a natural shrinkage over time, so we have sized each piece to allow for this.
To avoid excess shrinkage, a cold water wash is advised. Shaking out your cotton pieces when wet will reduce the need for ironing and returning your garment to its original shape.

V&W denim is proudly crafted in Australia from a premium cotton drill. Each pair is custom washed, giving a unique quality and ensuring no two pairs are the same.
Denim will naturally fade over time, however washing too often can accelerate this. We recommend washing your denim in cold water only and alternatively freezing, airing or steaming your jeans to refresh between washes.
Line drying can at times make denim feel stiff; a few minutes in a dryer on low temperature will soften the fibres. Alternatively, crisp denim will naturally soften with wear after a short time.
Avoid bleach or detergents that may have a bleach content, as this will not only affect colour but also break down the fibres in your denim pieces.

Commonly known as 'vegan silk', cupro is a bi-product of the cotton industry. Made in Japan and spun from tiny discarded cotton fibres, the fabric is manufactured in a way that reinvents the fibres into a luxuriously silky textured fabrication.
Our V&W cupro blend has added strength and durability for a piece that washes and wears beautifully. To maintain its silky appearance and integrity, we recommend you cold hand wash separately and dry flat in the shade.
Tumble drying and hot, steam iron should be avoided as it can potentially break down the yarn and produce a faded colour and dull the fabric's lustre and shine.
Gentle cold hand or machine wash, separately.
Do not bleach, tumble dry, soak or wring.

Linen is a naturally grown fibre that requires minimal energy and water to grow. The entire flax plant is used in the production of linen, ensuring no waste.
Offering breathability and transseasonality, linen is renowned as a highly versatile fabrication. To maintain its structure, linen is best washed in cold water. If a machine wash must be used, we recommend using a garment bag to avoid the loose weave catching on a sharp object.
Applying too much heat can cause the fibres to break down, impacting the integrity of the weave. When removing creases, we suggest placing a cloth in between the iron and garment to lessen the direct heat and protect the fabric.
Delicate spot clean.
Do not polish or use any cleaning product.
Do not dry clean.
Air inside out regularly for increased longevity.
Our leather is manufactured by a small family run business using the finest craftsmanship and premium Nappa leather for superior softness.
Leather is best cared for by delicately spot cleaning with mild soap and a damp cloth, this will ensure longevity and maintain the integrity of the garment.
We suggest avoiding excessive use of cleaning products as this can cause the fibres to break down prematurely.
Hanging your leather pieces is recommended to avoid creasing as we do not recommend ironing or steaming to remove this.
Dry clean only.
Dry cleaning is recommended for all wool coating and outerwear. Where necessary, spot cleaning and airing out will keep your coating beautiful.

Viscose is a natural biodegradable fibre regenerated from wood pulp. Often blended with other natural fibres such as linen or bamboo to encourage durability, soft hand feel and a lustrous finish.
Viscose is best maintained when cold hand washed and naturally air dried. Ironing can cause the fabric to burn and weaken the delicate nature of the yarn. If ironing is necessary, we suggest using a cloth between the iron and garment. We do not suggest spot cleaning your viscose pieces as this can leave a watermark.
Dry clean only with care.
Do not iron, light steam only.
Do not spot clean.
Our silk is manufactured to the highest ethical standards using premium materials and artisanal skills, certified by OEKO-TEX ethical practices standard. It is a delicate natural fibre that wears beautifully and can last a lifetime.
To ensure longevity of your silk pieces, we suggest dry cleaning only. Ironing can cause the fabric to burn and weaken the delicate nature of the yarn, if necessary, we suggest using a cloth between the iron and garment. We do not suggest spot cleaning your silk pieces as this can leave a watermark.
