Viscose is a man-made fibre - a “regenerated cellulosic fiber” made from cellulose rather than from petroleum. The cellulose is most commonly from wood pulp but many plants can be used, such as bamboo, which is broken down and then “regenerated” into a fibre.
Linen is a natural, breathable fibre that softens luxuriously with wear. The entire flax plant is used to produce linen ensuring no waste during harvest. Flax requires minimal energy and water to grow leaving a minimal environmental footprint.
